Blog Resources

Below are some of the resources I use to create, maintain, and analyze data on my blog! Hope these will be helpful for you too whether you are starting out or continuing on your blogging journey. 🙂

This page contains affiliate links, which means I get compensated if you use the resources or products through my links. This will be at no additional cost to you. Thank you for your support!

Blog Related

Web Hosting: I use SiteGround to host my blog. I switched over from BlueHost to SiteGround after extensive research shows that SiteGround is one of the top hosting sites for using the WordPress platform. Use my referral link here to get a promotional price your first year ($3.95/mo the first year)! They also offer 24/7 support. So far, so good!

Website Design: I bought my theme from pipdig. They have plenty of fully responsive, minimalist themes that are easy to customize! I’m using the Firefly one currently.

Affiliate Marketing

Skimlinks: I’d have to say that this is one of the affiliate marketing websites that makes it look easy on the eyes and easy to navigate as well. Instead of linking and embedding codes from the affiliate websites, you just link websites like you would normally, and Skimlinks will associate those with affiliates in their program. I usually scan through the Skimlinks portal to double check if my linking works, and I’ve not had any trouble with it!

Amazon Affiliates: Of course, Amazon products are great to offer. Everyone pretty much trusts Amazon, so this is a good one to start out with!

Analytics

Google Analytics: Before my blog was up and running, I created a Google Analytics account to link it to my blog. I wanted to track the blog’s metrics as soon as it went live. It’s a great tool to analyze the types of audience viewing the blog, what is driving traffic (in terms of content), what marketing channels bring in the most views, etc., which helps give an overall picture of your blog’s performance.
